Attention! PPTP protocol won't be supported by Astrill after 1st January, 2021.
STEP 1 - Login to Astrill Website
- Login to Astrill website, click on TOOLS tab.
- Under the TOOLS tab, click on view servers button.
STEP 2 - Choose a Server
- You will see the list of servers, and then choose the server of your choice e.g. GTX1.ASTRILL.NET.
STEP 3 - PPTP Client Configuration
- Open Tomato web admin, and then navigate to VPN Tunneling
- Then choose PPTP Client section (http://192.168.1.1/vpn-pptp.asp).
- For Server Address type in GTX1.ASTRILL.NET.
- For Username type in your Astrill account email.
- For Password type in your Astrill account password.
- For Encryption select None from drop down list.
- For Accept DNS configuration select Yes from drop down list.
- For Redirect Internet traffic tick the checkbox.
- For Create NAT on tunnel tick the checkbox.
- For MTU select Manual from drop down list, then type in 1400.
- For MRU select Manual from drop down list, then type in 1400.
- When you are done click Save button below, and to start VPN connection click Start Now button.
STEP 4 - Check your IP
- After 10 seconds of clicking on Start Now button you can check your IP address on (https://www.astrill.com/what-is-my-ip).
