  1. Click on your Start up menu.
  2. Choose Control Panel.
  3. Under Control Panel, choose Network Connections
  4. Then right-click on network adapter connected to the internet.
  5. And then select Properties.

  1. On Properties window, in General tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
  2. Then click on Properties button.

  1. Select Use the following DNS server addresses option.
  2. Type in 8.8.8.8, and 8.8.4.4 just like on the screen above.
  3. When you are done click on OK, and then click on OK again.

  1. Right-click on same network adapter.
  2. Then select Status.

  1. On Status window, click on Support tab.
  2. Then click on Details... button.

  1. Under network connection details, you will see 8.8.8.8, and 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers. This is a confirmation that DNS has been set.
  2. Click on Close button, then click on Close button again.
